Terms and Conditions of Sale
The terms and conditions listed below are valid for all purchases of products from CultureBriefing.com online shop at www.CultureBriefing.com (Global). All information on the website and in connection with placing orders, including these terms and conditions, is in English and the agreement is entered into in English.
By placing an order, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions of Sale, which will at all times be accessible on CultureBriefing.com online shop. Please read these terms and conditions thoroughly. We regularly update these terms and conditions – changes will be posted on CultureBriefing.com.
How our online service works The shop section of CultureBriefing.com is our own online ordering, purchasing and information service. The shop is open 24 hours a day, so you can order online at any time you wish. Please read the ordering process description below. We hope that you will have a positive experience with our online shop.
Staffing The staff of CultureBriefing.com processes orders Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm Central European Time. Orders placed outside of these hours will be processed on the following business day.
Protection of personal data CultureBriefing.com is subject to the Belgian Act on Processing of Personal Data and all handling of personal data is conducted in accordance with the aforementioned act. By making a purchase at CultureBriefing.com, you accept our personal data protection policy.
CultureBriefing.com collects data about you in different ways in connection with your use of CultureBriefing.com. Your consent and changes/deletion of your personal data When you visit CultureBriefing.com, you accept the above guidelines.
Ordering products The actual agreement between you and CultureBriefing.com is considered entered into when CultureBriefing.com has confirmed the order. If CultureBriefing.com is unable to fulfil your order for reasons such as sold-out products, we will contact you as quickly as possible by telephone or e-mail.
You are responsible and liable for ensuring that the entered customer information is correct, as CultureBriefing.com performs no further validation or control of this information.
Prices and payment The applicable price is that which is listed on the website on the day of the order for the product in question. All prices are listed in EUR and exclusive of the currently applicable 21% VAT for Belgium. Sales to countries outside of Europe are charged VAT, countries within the EU zone are not charded VAT. We reserve the right to change prices immediately without further notice. Shipping costs, as well as import duties and VAT are not included. Import duties and VAT only apply to deliveries to countries outside of Europe.
A charge to cover shipping costs shall be added to every product order placed on the website. Shipping charges will be listed on the order summary, as well as in the order confirmation that is sent via e-mail.
CultureBriefing.com encrypts all of your card data with the so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that unauthorised persons cannot read your card number or other information transmitted during the transaction with DIBS.
Delivery You can expect to receive your order within 5-15 business days. As CultureBriefing.com cannot guarantee local delivery conditions, CultureBriefing.com cannot provide a 100% guarantee of when the order will be delivered to the customer’s address. In case the desired product is not in stock at the time of ordering, we will contact you to inform you of the expected date of delivery.
As a consumer, you have a right to cancel the purchase order if the entire delivery is delayed in relation to the applicable agreement.
Refunds In case of agreed discounts, returned goods or pre-paid orders that are cancelled prior to delivery, a partial or complete refund of the purchase price will be issued. Refunds are typically issued via bank transfer. Therefore, CultureBriefing.com requires information about the registration number and account number of your bank account. This information is not sensitive and may be sent via e-mail or other traditional forms of correspondence.
Copy Rights All (down loadable) products (ALL!, without exceptions) are copyright by CultureBriefing.com. Making any kind of copies (ANY!, without exceptions) is violating those copy rights, and therefore illegal. So please do not do this. We do log your IP address!
The full agreement These Terms and Conditions of Sale, together with the website’s prices, contract details and guidelines regarding the protection of personal data, comprise the full agreement relating to our delivery of products to you.
